Biography

Marin (pronounced muh-RIN) is an attorney working primarily in criminal defense and estate planning for queer families. Before becoming an attorney, they worked in restorative justice, focusing on its use in addressing community conflict. In law school, they were part of the Restorative Justice Clinic, where they facilitated trauma-informed dialogues between survivors of serious harm or surviving family members and the people responsible for that harm. As a result, they are passionate about holistic advocacy. Today, Marin is dedicated to practicing law in ways that affirm people's value, dignity, and personhood while challenging dehumanizing systems.
